Dr. Peterson has taken many post graduate courses. He is a Board eligible certified Chiropractic Sports Physician College - CCSP N.Y.C.C. 1993.
He is a "Fellow" in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA)-2002.

Techniques 
Dr. Peterson has received training in various Chiropractic techniques such as Applied Kinesology - (Muscle Testing), S.O.T. - Sacral Occipital Technique, and Activator Technique.  
He is proficient in Motion Palpation Technique of the spine & extremities. He has spent time with Dr. Cox monitoring the Cox Distraction Technique for Disc cases. He studied with renowned Dr. Nimmo on Trigger Point Therapy and with Dr. Hammer on Cross Friction Technique.
He has received training in spinal rehabilitation & exercise therapeutics.

Dr. Peterson also attended Hamilton College for undergraduate studies in literature and the University of Bridgeport pre-chiropractic sciences program.

While at Life University Dr. Peterson concentrated studies in soft tissue injuries and sports medicine with an externship at Cobb Pain and Rehab Center through Life’s P.E.A.K. Program. He was an assistant captain of the Life University Skating Eagles, five-time National Champions of the ACHA Division II Men’s Hockey and a starting pitcher for the Hamilton College Colonials.
